“The tradition of Yoga says that as we
develop and grow, we are actually moving toward our
own true nature. Each of us has an individual nature
that is our truth, our core, our spirit, and as we
allow this true nature to shine through, we become
more peaceful, prosperous, confident and joyous!
This is the evolution of body, mind and spirit.”

during lunch, we have added one. Jill is the

Spiritual Sharing and Meditation Class
Tuesdays, 6:30 to 7:30 pm
$3.00 / person
We had our first Spiritual Sharing and Meditation
class last Tuesday. We had about 12 people,
including some youth. Thanks to Janet Gates and Mary
Frank Slaughter who have agreed to be the class
coordinators.
The plan for the class is that each week a different
individual will volunteer to begin our session with
sharing 15-20 minutes of their own practice, be it
reading poetry, chanting, movement, yoga, breathing
exercises etc. Then, after our minds are settled
and we have come together in spirit, we will have a
short breathing exercise followed by a 30-minute
silent meditation. Group meditation is of great
individual and universal benefit.
